1. Comb your facial hair with the widely-spaced teeth to remove any tangles or loose hair. 

2. Carefully trim your beard or mustache to the desired length. Use the scissor tips for small, precision cuts and the length of the blade for longer cuts. 

3. After you've finished cutting, re-comb your hair to remove trimmings and smooth hair.

4. If desired, apply beard oil or styling product and comb through to distribute.  

It's best to keep your scissors in a dry environment. If they get wet, dry them with a clean towel. You can also keep the cutting edges clean by wiping them with a towel after use. Swabbing the blades with rubbing alcohol and allowing them to air dry (while open) can help to keep them bacteria-free. Your comb is made from natural wood and should not be soaked in water. It can be cleaned by gently scrubbing the teeth with an old toothbrush and warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly, wipe excess water from the surface and allow it to air dry. It is normal for your comb to become a richer, darker color over time.
